2. Services

CJ Demo Ltd provides demolition, strip out, and waste removal services throughout London and the South East. Our Services include but are not limited to:

  • Airport facility demolition
  • Refurbishment strip outs
  • Interior demolition
  • Waste management and removal
  • Commercial and residential demolition projects
  • Emergency demolition services

All Services are subject to availability and we reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.

3. Quotations and Contracts

All quotations provided by CJ Demo Ltd are valid for 30 days from the date of issue, unless otherwise specified. Quotations are based on the information provided by you and may be subject to change if additional work is required or if site conditions differ from those described.

A binding contract is formed when you accept our quotation in writing or when we begin providing the Services at your request. Any variations to the agreed scope of work must be agreed in writing before implementation.

4. Payment Terms

Payment terms will be specified in your quotation or contract. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the following terms apply:

  • A deposit may be required before work commences
  • Final payment is due upon completion of the Services
  • We accept payment by bank transfer, cash, or as otherwise specified in your contract
  • Late payments may incur interest at the rate of 8% per annum above the Bank of England base rate

5. Client Responsibilities

As a client, you are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate information about the site and scope of work
  • Obtaining any necessary permits, licenses, or consents required for the Services
  • Ensuring safe access to the site for our team
  • Disclosing any known hazards or special conditions that may affect the work
  • Reviewing and approving our health and safety plan before work commences

6. Our Responsibilities

CJ Demo Ltd commits to:

  • Providing the Services with reasonable skill and care
  • Complying with all relevant health and safety regulations
  • Carrying appropriate insurance coverage
  • Disposing of waste materials in accordance with environmental regulations
  • Minimizing disruption to surrounding areas during the provision of Services

7. Cancellation and Termination

You may cancel scheduled Services by providing at least 48 hours' notice in writing. Cancellations with less notice may incur a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the quoted price to cover preparation costs and lost opportunity.

We reserve the right to terminate Services if site conditions are unsafe, if you breach these Terms, or if unforeseen circumstances prevent us from completing the work. In such cases, you will be liable only for Services already provided.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on our Website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of CJ Demo Ltd or our content suppliers and is protected by UK and international copyright laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content on our Website without our express written permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CJ Demo Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of our Services or Website.

Our total liability for any claims arising from the provision of Services shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific Services giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or for any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CJ Demo Ltd, its directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms or your use of our Services.

11. Force Majeure

CJ Demo Ltd shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations where such failure or delay results from any cause beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: acts of God, natural disasters, pandemic, epidemic, civil unrest, terrorism, governmental actions, or other similar events.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our Website. Your continued use of our Website or Services after any changes indicates your acceptance of the modified Terms.

14. Severability
